HOUSEHOLD/INDUSTRIAL
CLOTHING BLEACH
INGREDIENTS:
30.125 kg 25% Sodium Hypochlorite. (S.G.1.205)
75% Water.
PROCEDURE:
Mix the components together in a 200 litre plastic
container.
NOTE:
Sodium Hypochlorite is a very powerful bleach base
– take care that during the mixing process it does not splash onto any
bleachable materials.
HOW TO USE:
1. As a bleach - add to water BEFORE adding
garments to be bleached.
2. As a disinfectant - pour 50 ml of bleach into toilet or drain plug
holes in sinks and basins, and leave to sanitise and clean. Flush/rinse
after half an hour.
PACKAGING:
750 ml, 1 litre, 2 litre and 5 litre containers.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
200 litre plastic container. Mixing stick.
NOTE:
Sodium Hypochlorite usually comes in strengths of
between 12 and 15 percent. Try to get the 15 % strength, if at all
available. This mixture of 1 part Sodium Hypochlorite to 3 parts water
will give you a good quality product. However, a mixture of I part
Sodium Hypochlorite to two and a half parts water should give you a
product which is far superior to most bleaches on the market.
